Stability of barge in tow is an important problem. Loads due to meteorological phenomena acting on the barge should be considered in stability analysis. Based on the statistical decision theory,The authors adopt a practical method of interval estimation concerning parameters. As a example,the credit interval about Crosswise angle of inclination of the semi-submergible deck barge subjected by wind load is discussed in this paper.
