摘要
培养大学生自主学习能力是当前大学英语教学的必然要求,也是大学英语教学改革顺利进行的保证。通过对吉林化工学院06级学生自主学习能力的调查,发现普通工科院校学生自主学习能力不足,教师应通过培养学生自主学习动机与意识,加强对英语学习策略的训练,关注学生个体差异,实现培养学生的自主学习能力的目的。
To cultivate learners' ability of autonomous learning is not only the inevitable requirement of current situation of college English teaching,but also the guarantee of the success of college English teaching reform. The investigation of the autonomous learning capabilities of students in grade 2006 from Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology shows that learners in common institutions of technology lack the autonomous learning capabilities, so English teachers should develop their motivation and awareness,strengthen the training of English learning strategies,and focus on individual differences in order to achieve the purpose of developing learners' ability of autonomous learning.
