试论汉代的民办教育及其现代意义

The Private Education in Han Dynasty and Its Realistic Significance

汉代民办教育发展迅速,办学类型多样化,分初、中、高三级;教学内容广泛,不仅有文化知识还有自然科学知识的教授。汉代民办教育与官学教育相互配合,相互补充,在持续发展教育事业、加强经学传播、完善教育体系、促进科技发展等方面发挥了重要作用。对于当今教育特别是民办教育具有一定的借鉴意义。

Vocational education in Han Dynasty achieved a rapid development. A variety of education institutions appeared including, junior level school, intermediate level school and advanced level school. The teaching contents are extensive ranging from literal to natural science. State-run schools and private education cooperated mutually. Either sector is a supplementary part of the other. The private education enhanced educa-tion development in terms of the wide-spreading of classic masterpiece and scientific knowledge. This phenom-enon still possess its significance in our modern education.
