试析高职高专英语教学的EGP+ESP方案

高职高专学生文化基础相对薄弱,而我国经济技术的发展要求高职高专院校培养出既精通专业业务又有外语交流能力的较高层次应用型人才。在这种形势下,本文提出高职高专英语的EGP+ESP课程设置模式,笔者认为这种模式既能帮助学生打下良好的英语语言基础,又能进一步强化专业知识的输入,从而更好地实现高职高专人才培养的目标,为我国的经济建设服务。

The most commonly occurring problem among students in voca-tional colleges is the lack of solid general foundation for the English language. Yet,technological and commercial developments taking place in our country require that graduates excel both in acquiring professional skills,and in English language proficiency. In view of this situation,the current article suggests an EGP+ESP mode to help vocational college students to acquire sound foundation for English,parallel with promoting the input of vocational knowledge,with an eye on attaining the goals of vocational training in a more effi-cient manner.
