翻译研究博弈论

博弈论是研究竞争游戏中利益冲突的理性个体之间的跨学科理论。语言交际中存在竞争,翻译又是跨语言的交际活动,翻译中存在语言博弈。本文着重分析了列维(Levy)的翻译抉择论,指出了博弈中的抉择和最优化与翻译过程有诸多相似之处,都受主观因素的影响。

Game Theory proposes to study the behaviour of two or more people with conflicting interests,as in a competitive environment. Competition is a fact of language communica-tions. As a communicative activity across languages,translation is a result of competition between the SL and the TL. Analyzing Levy’s Translation Decision,this paper suggests that there are similarities between decision making in translations on the one hand,and the Optimization and translating process,on the other. Such similarities may be inspired by subjective preferences.
