摘要
多年来,理工科学生英语应用能力的提高一直是困扰外语教师的问题。本文以问卷和访谈的方式调查了理工科学生的英语应用能力的现状并分析了应用能力提高的障碍,以引起外语教师对各种障碍因素的关注,适时调整教学方法,进一步提高外语教学质量。
What has been haunting English teachers for years is how to improve Science and Engineering students' ability to apply English.This paper report's a survey of those stu- dents' ability to apply English,which was conducted in the form of a questionnaire and an interview,and analyzes obstacles to improvement.Hopefully,it will draw English teachers' attention to inhibiting factors and they could adjust teaching methods accord- ingly to improve teaching quality.
