Practical pedagogy has become an important part in the teacher development of higher education throughout the world.Teacher education for English-majors in teachers colleges and normal universities should keep pace with the reforms of the High School English Standards,reinforcing the curriculum construction of TEFL,and exploring the teaching content,methods and strategies of the curriculums in practice so as to enable the under- graduates to obtain the potentiality to become qualified English teachers for the basic edu- cation in the future.
