摘要
在英语教学方面,语料库和语料库语言学发挥着非常重要的作用。本文从回顾语料库的研究和创建入手,着重分析和探讨在英语作为外语的环境下语料库在英语词汇教学中的应用模式,主要是运用词频统计和语境共现检索工具等提取语料库中的语言信息和例证进行词汇教学。接着对基于语料库的词汇教学的得与失进行简要分析。最后对基于语料库的词汇教学的发展趋势作一展望。
In English language teaching,corpora and corpus linguistics have played a very im- portant role.On the basis of reviewing the research and creation of various corpora,this paper attempts first to discuss and analyse the application models of the English corpora in the teaching of vocabulary in the EFL context.It mainly focuses on the use of the word frequency statistics and the concordancing program to extract corpus data and examples to facilitate vocabulary teaching.It then analyses the merits and demerits of the corpus- based approach to vocabulary teaching.It also attempts to make predictions about the trends of the corpus-based approach to vocabulary teaching.
