The narrative technique of Singer's'The Bus' is well known for the shift between the focalizer and the focalized. This paper, beginning with an introducdon to the writer and the narrative theory, discusses the shift between the focalizer and the focalized and analyzes the significant meaning in it. What Singer writes about is not mainly the porblems of the Jews, but also the universal problem of the human beings face: the abnormal human relationships and their physical desire accompanied by ignorance of spirit.
