纳博科夫的小说《洛丽塔》出版后引起普通读者和批评界的广泛关注,几十年来对这部小说的阐释众说纷纭,莫衷一是。在对几种比较流行的观点进行综述之后,本文对这部小说进行了细致的文本分析,指出《洛丽塔》中蕴含的唯美主义代表了纳博科夫对艺术美的追求,《洛丽塔》是小说作者运用丰富的想象力将“此岸”世界化为“彼岸”艺术的成功尝试。
Lolita by Nabokov has aroused heated discussion after its publication among common readers and critics, and for decades different views on the novel have been raised and argued. The paper first briefly summarizes the major views on the novel, and then, based on a careful textual analysis, concludes that the aestheticism in the novel represents Nabokov's artistic pursuit of beauty,and that by writing Lolita Nabokov's rich artistic imagination transcends the material in this world into the spirit in the other world.
