摘要
本文用解构主义文学批评理论对司各特·菲茨杰拉德的小说《夜色温柔》进行了新的解读,发现这部作品一定程度上体现了作者初步的解构主义思想。通过文本细读,本文发现作者在这部小说的创作中有意无意地颠覆了文中几个主要的二元对立概念,同时文中某些重要的概念还存在意义的不确定性,进而认为正是这些解构主义的特点使得这部小说明显区别于同时代的其他重要作家的作品,并因而具有了超前性,在几十年后重获新生。
This paper analyzes F. Scott Fitzgerald' s Tender is the Night from a deconstructive perspective, and finds that it is two of the deconstructive characteristics—the deconstruction of the logos-centrism and the play of the meaning—that partially made it a failure in 1930s and a great success several decades later.
