从心理学角度来分析,证人不愿作证的原因主要包括两方面。一方面与其内在因素即证人个体的生理特征以及长期形成的某些心理特征有着密切的关系;另一方面,外在客观因素对证人是否愿意作证起着决定性的作用。人们根据客观事物是否满足自己的需要而产生肯定或否定的情绪或情感,并做出相应的回答性反映行动。侦查询问人员只有根据不同证人的心理特点,采取针对性的合法手段,才能使证人提供其所运载的所有犯罪信息。

Psychologically, witnesses are reluctant to give evidence. For one thing, witnesses' physical characters are closely related to psychological characters that have long been formed. For another, people react positively or negatively to whether their needs can or cannot be satisfied. Only according to witnesses' different psychological characters can the investigators make witnesses provide all the information related to the crime.
