Utterance Interpretation: Its Intentional Explanation

在意向性理论的视野下,话语理解和含意推导是一种意向性解释。话语的理解过程,是局域话语受到在意向性指引下形成的下向因果关系的制约,进展为话语的整体性解释这样的过程,即在意向性提供的下向因果域范围内谋求对话语之所以这样说给出一个说得通的“理由”。这个过程体现为根据有关的常规关系获取隐性表述,对显性表述作出补足或/和阐释的过程,这是一种泛因果关系的解释。这个过程是集体意向性制约下的个体意向性发挥积极作用的过程,使显性表述的意义对象化、具体化、经验化。

In terms of intentionality theory, utterance interpretation and inference of implicatives are seen as a kind of interpretation of the speaker's intentions. The process is one in which plausible reasons are provided for the explanation of the utterance said this way within the downward causal relation domain by making use of the implicatives coming from the stereotypical relations concerned to supplement and/or elucidate the meaning of the utterance. This is a process in which individual intentionality is activated on the condition of collective intentionality, making the meaning of the utterance objectified and concretized.
