摘要
本文应用认知隐喻理论探讨多义词教学,主要涉及两个方面,一是让学生了解多义词的基本形成过程;二是要培养学生的隐喻思维能力,提高词汇学习效率。作者认为,认知隐喻理论在多义词教学中的应用,是一种新型的词汇教学方法,它会进一步丰富词汇教学的理论和方法。
This paper,drawing on cognitive metaphor theory,explores polyseme teaching in two aspects: one is to let the students learn the extension process of word meanings,the other is to train students' metaphorical thinking ability and help them study polysemes effectively and efficiently. The author claims that the application of the cognitive metaphor theory to vocabulary teaching is a new method which will enrich vocabulary teaching theories and methods.
