摘要
本文作者通过对《新视野大学英语.读写教程》和《新视野大学英语.读写教程.教师用书》内容的分析,提出了信息量大和课时量少之间的矛盾,并引入课件制作技术,成功地解决了这一矛盾,使学生较迅速、准确、牢固地掌握课文中大量的生词、短语及语言点,为学习课文打下了坚实的基础,提高了课堂效率,改善了教学效果,改变了人们对课件“华而不实”,“课件只适用于中小学教育”等偏见看法。
After having analyzed the books-New Horizon College English· Comprehensive Reading Book and New Horizon College English· Teacher's Book,the writer of this article put forward the contradiction between enormous amounts of information in the books and less teaching hours.By adopting slide shows,the writer can successfully overcome this problem,which greatly helps students understand and memorize words,expressions and language points more effectively and therefore enhances teaching and learning efficiency.The application of slide shows to New Horizon College English teaching has attacked such prejudices as 'slide shows is not practical in English learning'and 'slide shows is only suitable for primary education'.
