科学发展观把保持和发展党的先进性与引领经济社会切实转入科学发展轨道的历史使命、人民群众对党推动发展作用的认可程度、贯彻以人为本的执政理念和构建社会主义和谐社会紧密联系起来,赋予党的先进性建设以新的时代内涵。党的先进性建设要着眼于为贯彻落实科学发展观提供理论、组织、作风和执政机制保证。要通过贯彻落实科学发展观,拓展党的先进性建设的思路,激发全党加强先进性建设的动力,并将其转化为加强党的先进性建设的理论成果和制度成果。

By combining the maintenance and development of the Party's advancement with the historic mission of leading economic and social development into the scientific path, the approving degree of the people towards the Party, the humanistic governing idea and the construction of a harmonious socialist society, the concept of scientific development has endowed timely implication to the construction of the Party's advancement. The construction of the Party's advancement should provide theoretical, organizational, work stylistic and governing mechanical guarantee for the implementation of the concept of scientific development.
