On the Function of Social Organizations in Constructing a Harmonious Society

在构建社会主义和谐社会的过程中,社会组织不仅发挥着提供一定社会公共服务、维护一定群体的利益、推进民主政治建设的作用,而且还能够分担社会风险、化解社会矛盾、维护社会稳定。但从目前来看,中国社会组织体系的发育还不成熟,其外部环境与自身素质都需要完善。加强对社会组织的管理和引导,可以更好地发挥社会组织在构建和谐社会中的作用。

During the process of constructing a harmonious socialist society, social organizations not only play the role of providing certain public services, protecting the benefits of certain groups and promoting democratic political construction, but also help share social risks, resolve social contradictions and maintain social stability. However, the development of social organization system is not mature in China, where both its quality and the external environment need further improvement. With more management and guidance, social organizations can better serve the cause of constructing a harmonious society.
