摘要
大学英语课堂中的小组学习法使学生们表现出了极大地参与热情,从而大大的激发了学生动机和信心,增强了进取心和竞争意识;男女同组,强弱搭配有利于共同交流和提高学习者之间的人际关系。但同时也存在一些问题:有些水平较弱的学习者由于受心理因素的影响参与程度不够;也有个别退缩现象;纪律约束差,个别学生存在精力分散,难以集中的问题。
Various approaches to non-English major ELT at college level in China have been explored since the early 1980s,with a certain fruitfulness,namely,among others,discourse analysis,and the communicative approach have found their way in college ELT,but they are still far from satisfactory and popular due to the contextual factors like large-size classes.In this regard,the article attempts to apply the less-attractive strategy,Group learning,to his classes and consequently finds it's effective in an unexpectedly desirable manner.
