On the Differences between Chinese and Western Aesthetic Consciousness

本文试图通过对中西审美意识中的道德差异、美之形态的差异以及审美方式的差异等三方面的比较研究,进一步阐述文艺审美的本质属性,探讨艺术中文与质、形式与内容的关系,寻求中西方艺术审美中情与理互补、互融的途径。

The article compares the differences in morals, aesthetic form and aesthetic pattern between Chinese and Western aesthetic consciousness. It tries to make further explanation on the essence of aesthetic judgment in literature and art, to discuss the relation between language and its essence and the relation between form and content and seek ways of the perceptual and the rational mutual complement and integration in artistic aesthetic judgment between China and the West.
