Great Contributions of Zhou Enlai to Socialism with Chinese Characteristics

回顾中国特色社会主义在中国的伟大实践历程,我们充分认识到,我国改革开放总设计师邓小平同志为此作出了不可磨灭的历史贡献,建立了丰功伟绩,党的第一代领导集体在这方面也进行了艰难的探索,积累了宝贵的历史经验。作为党的第一代领导集体的主要成员之一的中华人民共和国开国总理周恩来为此作出了重要贡献。

During the sixteenth National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, Comrade Jiang Zeming gave a speech on'Totally Building Affluent Society to Inaugurate a New Situation of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics', which marks the beginning of new stage that the Party has led the people to construct modern socialism. Recalling the great history of constructing socialism with Chinese characteristics, the main designer, Deng Xiaoping, has played a key role in Chinese reforming and opening. Certainly, one of the first generation leaders, Premier Zhou Enlai, also contributed greatly to this great cause.
