本文主要依据切斯特曼的理论,探讨了翻译活动中翻译规范起作用的表现形式。在翻译活动中,翻译规范不仅制约译者对翻译过程的主体性运作,还影响人们对翻译产品的认识和评价。翻译规范理论解释了不少长期困扰我们、又得不到很好解释的翻译现象。

On the basis of Chesterman's theory of translation norms,this paper explores the explicability of translation norms on translation activity from two main respects: translators' subjectivity in translating process and the appraisal of the translation products.Chesterman's theory of translation norms is helpful in explaining some confusing problems in translation.
