On Relation between Emotion and Skills of Singing

在歌唱中常出现“有声无情”或“有情无声”的现象,其根本原因是没有弄清楚“声”与“情”的关系。“声”是指发声技巧的运用,“情”则是指心理情感表现,二者相辅相成,具有整体性。二者的阶段性即:最初的情感体验、理论的指导和情感的升华同样不容忽视。情感与技巧的关系简单说就是:表达情感是目的,技巧是手段。

We will often enter into a certain mistaken idea during the vocal study. One is the “sound and nonemotion ”, the other one is “emotional and silent”in singing . I think the reason is that we haven't cleared the relation of the emotion and skills. “Sound” is the application of skills of producing sound and the “emotion” is the expression of psychological emotion. They are not divisible in study. Equally , we don't overlook their three phases, which are emotion experience, direction of theories and emotion sublimation.
