The materials used in making clothes have a huge effect of the perception of the wearer.The same style of garment using different ma- terial will create drastically different perceptions.Generally the designers will use pure cotton grey for a sample,because it is cheap,good quality,and does not change shape. Marks are easily recognizable so it makes molding and mass production easier.As a result it has become the best choice for 3D cutting.
