摘要
Halliday的语境理论和Martin的语境理论是系统功能语言学中两种影响最大的语境理论。本文探讨它们的异同,分析各自对语言学理论的贡献,并讨论这两种语境模型需要继续深入研究的问题。
The present paper attempts to make a contrastive study of Halliday's and Martin's theories of context,which are the most influential models of context in Systemic Functional Linguistics.After analyzing their similarities and differences and comparing their contributions to the development of functional linguistics,it points out their deficiencies to be remedied and discusses the issues to be further investigated.
