One summer evening,I was playing with some children by a pool. We saw a lot of frogs in the water.One of us said,“Let’s catch frogs.”“That’s a good idea,”we all agreed.Then we began to do so.Some caught forgs with their hands,some used nets and others threw stones at the frogs.We were playing happily when a peasant came up and shouted at us,“Don’t catch frogs!”Then he said,“Frogs are of great value to farming.They eat a great deal of harmful insects every year.We must protect them.”Hearing his words,we felt ashamed of ourselves and we set all the frogs free.We made up our minds to protect the useful animals and not to do that again.
