辞赋是中国较早的自觉文体,它是综合先秦诗经、楚辞乃至散文的艺术经验而形成的,所以句式灵活多样。这种灵活多样的句式不仅是辞赋瑰丽艺术性的体现,而且对后世文体发展影响巨大。三言句首先在辞赋中大量使用,它对五七言诗以及词、曲都有重要的启迪。六言对句是辞赋在吸取楚辞句法基础上发展而成的,是骈文的重要构件。
