统计工作是国家对国民经济和社会发展进行宏观调控、科学管理和实施监督的重要手段。如何使统计工作适应经济、社会发展的需求,为科学决策提供全面真实、及时可靠的信息数据资料,更好地为国民经济发展和社会主义市场经济服务,是当前统计工作面临的一个重大课题。
The statistical work is an important means, by which the government exercises macro-control, administrates and implements supervision over national economy and social development. To offer all-round, true, timely and reliable information data for scientific policy-making is an important task for statistical work at present. In order to serve economic social development better, statistical work need reform and innovations and improve its legal system.
