雕塑现象并不是一种孤立、单纯的现象,其中存在着主体与客体的关系问题。它与主体——人的观察、介入环境的角度有着密切的关系。客体是客观存在的。

Sculpture is not an isolated and simple phenomenon; there exist subjective and objective relationship. It has close relationship with subject-people's observation and position of getting into the environment. While the object is outward, just as sculpture is a true object, it depends only on how subject views it and designs it. Many sculptures not only have specific use value, hut also shoulder the beautification function of improving overall visual effect in the environment. Sculptures can intensify the particularity of environment. The social cultural meaning or message it conveys may trigger off public consonance and association, thus good interaction between artwork, public and environment takes into shape and there is vitality and livingness around the environment. In a word, as an artwork put in the open public places with close communication with environment, sculpture boasts the nature of conducting compatible and proactive dialogue. From the point of view of establishing compatible and close relationship with public and weakening the subject-object relationship between public and sculpture, sculpture is a kind of public living art, which plays an important role in shaping appearance feature of public environment and urban human culture environment etc.
