A narrow band FIR digital filter for compensating the x/sin(x) spectrum distortion occurring in D/A converters has been designed with the help of matlab.This filter was designed according to the requirement of a GPS signal simulator system.The designed 7-tap filter was implemented in a Xilinx's FPGA.The simulation results show that the sampling rate could be over 120MHz,and the latency of the filter was only 8 clock cycles.
