The effective measures and ways of raising the Putonghua level of teachers college students are to create the mechanism of popularizing putonghua through classroom guidance, favorable atmosphere and guaranteed management, to adjust teaching materials, to innovate teaching methods, to strengthen practice, to construct putonghua curriculum system, to cultivate students' motivation of learning putonghua, to excite students' interest in learning putonghua, and to improve students' oral communicative competence.
