摘要
吐谷浑作为我国4—7世纪西北地区少数民族政权之一,在中西交通史上占有重要的一席。吐谷浑采取灵活多变的外交政策,与南北朝诸政权交好,与西域及中亚各国频繁交往,不失时机的壮大自身势力。其活动对于维护古丝路青海道的畅通,对于中西经济、文化、政治交流都起了重大作用。
Tou—yu—houen, a minority ethnic group in the north—west of China during the period from the fourth to the seventh centuries, played an important role in the history of communication between China and the West. Tou—yu—houen adopted flexible policies and maintained friendly relationship with the South and the North dynasties and frequently contact with the Western Regions so as to strengthen itself. The activities of the group had a great effect on the protection of the part of the Silk—Road in Qinghai and on economic, cultural, and political exchange between China and the West.
