现代外语教学法提倡听说领先和摹仿,是有积极意义的,但也容易走向另一个极端,即忽视自觉的学习手段,特别是忽视比较,从而失去它们在外语教学中应当充分发挥的作用。由于各种事物都存在有普遍性和特殊性,语言亦是如此。各种语言都有其特殊的规律,但也有其共同的原理。而"比较"就是要找出它们的异同,只有比较,才能准确地掌握某种外语的特点和规律,也只有比较,才能显露具体语言的结构特点,才能更深刻地理解某种语言结构的本质。

What the modem foreign language teaching advocates listening and speaking first and imitation has positive significance. But it's easy to go to another end:ignoring the method of conscious study,especial in comparison.And it will lose its effect in foreign language teaching.As everything has its universality and particularity,language also has its universality and particularity. Various kinds of languages have their particular laws and also has their common ones.We want to find their differences and common points from the comparison.Only comparison can we command the characteristics and laws of certain foreign language and manifest structure features of language and realize the nature of certain language deeply.
