Communication of Medicine between China and America in ancient times

古代中国与美洲的交往源远流长,双方的商品贸易起步较早,医药学交流肇始滞迟。当然,古代美洲人民荜路蓝缕,发展了当地的医药卫生事业,并与中国开展了双边交流。在南美洲双方主要通过间接医药交流,在北美洲双方较多地采用直接医药交流。

The communication between ancient China and America can be traced back long ago,especially the trade between two sides started earlier while the communication of Medicine lagged behind.Ancient American(both North and South continent) developed their unique medicine and started trading and communicating with Chinese.Indirect communication of Medicine was set up with Chinese and South Americans whereas direct communication of Medicine is the major form of communication between Chinese and North Americans.
