介绍IEEE802 1x协议的起源、体系结构、技术特点等。IEEE802 1x起源于 802 11,最初用来解决无线局域网用户接入认证问题,逐渐成为一种为整网提供安全的认证技术。IEEE802 1x称为基于端口的访问控制协议,协议体系结构包括三个部分:客户端、认证系统、认证服务器。

This article introduce the inition,the structure and the technical specification of the standard IEEE 802.1x. IEEE 802.1x come from the standard IEEE 802.11 in order to solute the security access of the wireless user. IEEE 802.1x is called Port based network access control protocol,which structure include three parts:Supplicant System, Authenticator System and Authentication Server System.
