摘要
The purpose of this article is to introduce some effective ways on English and American Literature teaching.The author firstly states the necessity to establish definite teaching objectives then suggests five practical approaches to attain them:1.To teach the students to make an effective note which will help them to learn the course scientifically and systematically;2.To have student-oriented discussion which will help to invite all students to take part in;3.To write and learn to write by imitation which can arouse the students'interest and motivation;4.To practice role-playing to unearth the students' potentialities; 5.To use video as a teaching aid to reinforce the effect of learning and memories of the works.The author finally makes a brief suggestion about evaluation and testing.Some cautions to be taken in the teaching and testing are also discussed in the paper as well.
英美文学课程是英语专业本科的必修课。如何进行有效的教学?本文根据作者多年教学经验及学生反馈信息,提出首先确立一定的教学目标,然后探讨了实现这一目标的一些可行的教学方法:1)使学生学会科学系统地做笔记;2)进行以学生为中心的讨论;3)写作和模仿性写作,激发兴趣和动力;4)角色演习,挖掘潜力;5)利用录像作为教学辅助手段。最后,作者对测试和评估提出了一些建议。本文还指出了教学中应注意的一些事项。
