高一涵是中国现代政治科学体系的重要奠基者,作为“五四”启蒙运动中最显赫的一批“大众导师”之一,他又是少有的具备深厚西方政治学素养的专业人士,是继严复之后的又一学院派思想启蒙大师。对其富有特色的人权启蒙部分作一些疏理是一项有意义的工作。

Cao Yihan is a major founder of Chinese modern political science .He is one of the most illustrious batch of 'the masses tutors' in 'the May Fourth Movement' and also a rare professional personage with the attainments of deep western politics. Following Yan Fu he is another thinking initiator of institute school. It is a meaningful job to readjust some human rights thought with characteristics .
