In the review,we systemically discussed proteomics'definition,classification,function and its three main technologies.Also,we systemically discussed application of proteomics in the crop science,for example,symbiotic interaction between plant and N fixing bacteria,in chloroplast proteomics,in male sterility of crops,the response of plant to drought and salinity,et al.And last prospect of proteomics study in the agricultrue science.
