毛泽东虽不是艺术家,但喜欢欣赏美术作品,他对中国绘画的方法、技巧、及美术创作和教学都有独到的见解,他高度重视美术工作,将其视为无产阶级革命的一部分,为中国美术事业的发展指明了方向。

Though Mao Zedong is not an artist, he liked appreciating fine art works and he had some kind of unique view as to the method of Chinese painting, technique and art making. He highly attached importance to fine arts and taking it as part of the proletarian revolution. He pointed out the direction for the development of Chinese fine art causes.
