艺术院校英语精读教学中教师角色的转换

摘要 《大学英语教学大纲》就阅读教学方面的要求是培养学生具有较强的阅读能力。对艺术院校的学生要求略低一些,但如何让他们能熟练地阅读专业书籍,是值得重视的问题。传统的精读课教学有不少弊端,难以实现大纲所要求达到的目标。其结果是费时低效,学生的阅读能力得不到提高。针对这一现状,笔者从教师在课堂中所扮演的角色这一视角来剖析教学目标不能实现的原因,并提出了教师角色转换的建议,阐述了提高精读课效率的具体方法。 The requirement of English teaching in reading from 'University English Teaching Program' is to cultivate students to possess stronger reading ability. To the art educational institution students, the requirement is slightly lower. But how to let them skillfully read their professional English is the question worth attaching importance to. The intensive reading class teaching has many malpractices and is hard to achieve the outlined objective. It is time consuming and low effective, and the reading ability of students is not much raised. As a countermeasure, the author suggests the change of role for the teacher and expounds the concrete method to raise the intensive reading class efficiency.
