石窟艺术反映了我国中世纪的绘画与雕塑艺术,具有中世纪特有的风格及神秘的力量,其兴盛与佛教在中国的发展密切相关。佛教遗像是将宗教的教义以情感化、情绪化,迫使你将注意力集中到形象之外的寓意,“言尽意未尽”体现了一种未完成原则,而这种原则正是艺术的精神。
The grotto art reflects Chinese painting and sculpture in Middle Ages, processing a unique style and mysterious strength and growing together with Buddhism in China. Those paintings and sculptures visualize the Buddhist sutras, making one think of the things alluded outside these visions. Those unfinished 'Speechless' principles show the true artistic essence.
