湖北省毒品犯罪日趋严重，已成为国内贩毒的重要中转站；吸毒人员剧增，毒品消费市场已经形成；结伙作案突出，贩毒手段多样化。面对严峻的形势，必须引起政府的高度重视；加强基础和防范工作，加大打击力度；着力禁毒专业机构和队伍建设；强化禁毒宣传教育工作。

Drugs crimes have become gradually serious in Hubei Province , which has become a transfer station for domestic and international drugs pushing ; the number of drugs-taking people has increased greatly and drugs-consuming market has formed; ganged-up case has grown conspicuous and means of drugs pushing appear diversified. So we should attract the government' s attention to the severe situation and strengthen the basic and preventional work and the hitting power as well; focus on construction of the drugs-prevention institutes and its self-development; intensify the propaganda and education of drugs prevention.
