Brief Comments On The Theory Of Good And Bad About Meng And Wang Fast Dynasties

苏轼是唐诗批评史上“孟王优劣论”的始作俑者,他以“才学”说评论孟诗,影响既大,所受批评亦众。明代的“孟王优劣论”,主要表现在两个方面,其一为以钟惺为代表的“孟不及王”说,其二为以李东阳为代表的“王不及孟”说。前者遭到了明清两朝诸多诗论家的质疑与辨驳,后者则为闻一多所支持。潘德舆是清代推崇孟浩然其人其诗的代表。

Sushi was the first critic in Tang Dynasty on the theory of good and bad about Meng and Wang. He commented MengHao ran on erudition, which had a great influence as well as critique. The theory of good and bad about MengHaoran and Wang Wei in Ming Dynasty was expressed in two aspests;the first is Meng is worse than Wang, represented by ChongXing; the second is Wang is worse than Meng, represented by Li Dong yang. The former was suspected and negated by many poem critics in Ming and Qing Dynasty. The latter was supported by WenYiduo. PanDe yu was the representative who esteemed Meng and his poems.
