摘要
高等专科英语教学培养的是高级应用型人才,因此现阶段的英语教学应适应市场的需要。《实用英语》实用性强、交际性强,教师应转变教学观念,结合学生的实际情况,充分调动学生的积极性,让学生在良好的教学环境中,掌握英语语言知识和技能,并具有阅读和翻译与本专业有关的英文资料的初步能力。
The aim of college level English teaching is to develop advanced applicable talents. Therefore, English teaching at present should meet the needs of the market. Practical English is of practical use and communication. Teachers of English should change their traditional teaching thought, connect teaching with students'real condition, fully stimulate their enthusiasm in learning. In such a good enviomment, the students can grasp knowledge and ability of English language. Furthermore, they can achieve the initial ability in reading and translating English materials concerned with their own major.
