摘要 The functionalization of EPR with glycidylmethacrylate(GMA)function by melt free radical grafting in aco-rotating twin-screw extruder is investigated. GMA is used as themonomer, styrene(St)is used as the comonomer in order to enhance thedispersion between EPR and GMA. The potential of using a GMA modifiedEPR(EPR-g-GMA)as the toughness precursor is examined as well. Thepresence of EPR-g-GMA reduced the Particle size of the dispersedphase(PBT)along with improved cohesion between EPR and PBT phases.
