People have been arguing about the essential connotation of collectivism for a long time. Considering the emerging of the collectivism and its practice and function in the reality, collectivism is the ideological system of the proletariat and the generalization of the socialist ideology. The essential connotation of collectivism is to benefit the majority. Its ideal state is the human being′s emancipation——the unity of the free people.
