According to the fact that the freshmen at polytechnic college lack of confidence, guided by the teaching theory with emotion and the attitudes＇ changing and balance theory, the paper has probed the characteristics of appreciation teaching method, the necessities of applying it to the teaching for the fresher at polytechnic college, the procedure of carrying it out, which is helpful for the teachers to apply it to the fresher at polytechnic college so as to realize the goal of teaching the fresher at polytechnic conege.
