重庆设立直辖市,从1997年6月18日正式挂牌至今已两年多了。直辖给重庆注入了新的活力与生机,为重庆经济腾飞和社会发展插上了翅膀。两年多来。
Chongqing was promoted to municipality in June 1997.Municipality stains has given wings to the economic soaring and social development of Chongqing. In the two years since then Chongqing has achieved re- markable achievements:a steady increase of economy, rise of people's living standard,expanding of opening, growing of foreign investment,strengthening of the con- strnction of infrastructurc,the smooth proceeding of mi- gration and the construction of the Three Gorges project.
