摘要
建国以来,特别是改革开放以来,在中国共产党和人民政府的正确领导下,全国人民高举马列主义、毛泽东思想和邓小平理论的伟大旗帜,在建设有中国特色的社会主义道路上奋勇前进。经过50年的团结拼搏,艰苦创业,把一个满目疮痍、百业凋蔽、贫穷落后的旧中国变成了百业兴旺、繁荣富强的新中国。全国城乡都发生了巨大变化,到处呈现一派欣欣向荣、人民安居乐业的喜人景象。本刊登载的几篇文章,只是挂一漏万地简介了全国和重庆市某些方面的成就与变化,以飨读者。
Editor's word: Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially since the opening and reforms, the Chinese people, under the correct leadership of the Communist Party of China and the People's Government, holding high the great banners of Marxism, Leninism, Mao Tsetong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, have been marching along the road of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. After 50 years hard struggle they have changed the poor and backward old China into a rich and prosperous new China. Great changes have taken place throughout the country, a booming sight every where, the people are living a happy life. Several articles here only briefs tire achievements and changes of the country and of Chongqing.
