The curative effect of hiccup treated by acupuncture therapy was observed in 30 cases of malignant tumor patients after chemotherapies. The results show that hiccup disappeared completely in 28 cases after acupuncture at Zusanli (ST 36) and Neiguan (PC 6) on the both sides for 1 to 4 times, the total effective rate was 93. 3 %, it was very significant.
