On Oin Guan's Songs That Showed A Change of Style of the Songs of North-Song Dynasty

本文主要阐述了著名词人秦观的词作在北宋诗人之词向词人之词转变过程中所起的作用 ,分析了秦观词既远祖温 (庭筠 )、韦 (庄 ) ,又兼取诗质 ,他对词质的这一拓新 。

This paper starts to evaluate the significance of the famous song-writer Qin Guan's works in the period when the North-Song Dynasty poets were on the way to write pure songs (ci) instead of their poem-like songs. An analysis is also given as to how Qin Guan inherited the styles of Wen Tingyun and Wei Zhuang, how he retained the poetic disposition. His new probe in song writing had accelerated the upgrading of North-Song songs to their superb state.
